What are Portals?
Portals are gearboxes that replace your spindles and hubs. Your axles enter the gearbox at the top of the portal and your wheel attaches to the outside at the bottom of the gearbox. This gives you an unprecedented amount of ground clearance and a 35% gear reduction that reduces all of the stress on your drivetrain and transmission.
Why Portals?
You could spend over $30,000 by the time you do a regear, tub, trim fenders, replace your suspension, and still not be nearly as functional as having portals. With portals you can skip all of that and clear 42″ tires while adding an additional 5.5″ of clearance. On a Tacoma, your differentials will be about 20″ off the ground at ride height.
It simply doesn’t get better.
