If you choose to run a 42″ tire with these Werewolf Portals you will increase your ground clearance by almost a full 12″!

Another benefit of going with portal axles is the gear reduction at the hub. Our Werewolf Portals give you a 35% gear reduction, which relieves the stress on your transmission and entire driveline. Not accounting for additional weight, a 35% gear reduction means that 42″ tires “feel” like stock tires on portals. That’s without a traditional diff regear, without having to tub, without going to long travel arms, links, etc… all you need to do is bolt on portals and you can run up to 42s right away.
